Fucking awesome with a side of kick ass.
Other sci-fi/action movies are jealous of District 9.
There’s plenty I could say but I don’t want to spoil it. It’s best to go in knowing as little as possible. Just go see it. Go see it now. You’ll be glad you did.

Thank you for the recommendation. You were right, it was awesome. And it just goes to show that there is no inherent need for compromise between good sci-fi and good-action. You can do both well.
