niqueworks is a website devoted to the works of Nique Yager, a 30-something woman living in Montreal, who enjoys a healthy relationship with her TV.

To feed her belly Nique is employed as a data entry monkey.  To nourish her mind she runs this website.  Send her money so she can stop punching those monkey keys.  Just kidding.  (Totally not kidding)

Here is a definition of my categories:

 Comics: Cartoons with a punchline, usually with humour based on the humiliation of others

Graphic Novels: Illustrated stories driven by dialogue

Illustrated Prose: Stories with pictures, different from a picture book in that a pb has seperate illustrations depicting the story, whereas illustrated prose has text integrated into a graphic background.

Prose: Beware, no pictures!  Remember kids, reading rots your brain!

Illustrated Poetry: I don’t think I’ll post much poetry without pics, simply because I myself hate reading poetry so I would feel hypocritical asking others to read such shit.

Rants: Well, duh, this is a blog after all.

Reviews: Critiques of movies I have seen (usually at the Fantasia Festival).  I’ll try to refrain from critiquing things I haven’t seen.

I’ll also categorize works by genre because I tend to write either science-fiction or real-life stuff with occasional forays into fantasy.
