\u00a0It\u2019s one thing to abuse drugs that don\u2019t affect others, though I would argue there\u2019s no such thing, but smoking very directly hurts those around you.\u00a0 Why should I have to breathe in your second hand smoke because you are self-destructive?<\/p>\n
\u00a0I understand addiction but why do people start smoking in the first place?\u00a0 Obviously they start young, when they are impressionable and prone to peer pressure but that is really no excuse.\u00a0 Even as a nihilistic teenager I was never, ever pathetic enough to let others influence me into stabbing myself in the eye with an ice pick.\u00a0 Similarly I never picked up a cigarette no matter how many times they were offered.\u00a0 Do you really think so little of yourself that you would willingly blacken your lungs just to fit in with the in crowd?\u00a0 Christ on a cracker, grow some self-esteem.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Parents who smoke are the worst.\u00a0 \u2018Cause really?\u00a0 You really can\u2019t quit for the sake of your kids?\u00a0 What kind of message are you sending to your offspring?\u00a0 And do you care so little about their health that you would endanger it so deliberately and directly?\u00a0 Because you know that shit is infecting them, right?\u00a0 Not just psychologically but physically as well.\u00a0 It\u2019s not just that they\u2019re breathing it in, it\u2019s also being absorbed into their skin just from touching you, just from being in your house.\u00a0 So really?\u00a0 Seriously?\u00a0 You\u2019re really gonna keep smoking even though you have kids?\u00a0 Who allowed you to breed anyway?\u00a0<\/p>\n
I know someone who grew up in a smoking household.\u00a0 As a kid he was addicted to nicotine just because he was constantly exposed to his parents’ fumes.\u00a0 So when he would go to school or to friend’s houses he’d go into withdrawal and act like a total dipshit.\u00a0 He’s probably lost years off his life just because his parents were too selfish to consider his health.\u00a0 God, that shit pisses me off!\u00a0 It smacks of a disrespect so palpable that you can actually see it floating in a cloud around them.\u00a0 Oh no wait, that’s just the smoke.\u00a0 I hope they choke on it and die.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Smokers should be locked up with rapists and pedophiles.\u00a0 That\u2019s how much it offends me.\u00a0 I wish there would be a plague that would wipe out all the smokers.\u00a0 You know, one that is more fast-acting and ubiquitous than cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
