I wasn’t expecting much from this new sci-fi series because it’s on ABC and really, one of the major American broadcast networks?\u00a0 Bleh.\u00a0 But I was pleasantly surprised.\u00a0 All the marketing for this series made it sound like Grey’s Anatomy in space, i.e. a soap opera but I quite liked it.\u00a0 It’s just my kind of sci-fi: the kind with a lot of science fact and with an emphasis on characterization.\u00a0<\/p>\n
I didn’t like all the crying baby, anti-abortion shit but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt ’cause it feels like they’re going somewhere with it.\u00a0 And I’m intrigued by the Beta mystery thing.<\/p>\n
So far so good.\u00a0 I will watch until it is inevitably cancelled.<\/p>\n
